Season 4 - coming next week!

Season 4 of the Pope Francis Generation Podcast starts on Monday!

The audience who we created this podcast for are Catholics, especially millennials, who feel alienated from the Church because of politics, culture wars, abuse scandals, or struggles with Church teaching. That is, folks inside the Church who feel like outsiders.

The first episode of this season addresses that head on. Dominic and I share personal stories about our experience of the times when we’ve felt alienated in Catholic circles that once felt like home, the experience of waking up one day and realizing that you no longer belong. Then we turn to the kerygma, theosis, and the teachings of Pope Francis as places where we have experienced God’s love and goodness.

Also, as you may have noticed, I haven’t been writing much the past few weeks. I started my year long run in practicum/internship as a mental health counselor. Seeing real live clients (and all of the preparation that involves) has been encouraging and rewarding. It’s also been challenging and has required more of my time than I anticipated. Please keep me in your prayers as I continue in this next stage of my education and formation as a counselor.
